Fleet Manager Quick Help Guide

This guide explains the differences when managing robots within SoftBank Robotics Fleet Management Platform, focusing on Transfer, Activation, Deactivation, and Swap.

Transfer vs Activation

  • Transfer moves a robot between accounts (e.g., from the Distributor Pool into a Sub Account).
  • This is required for robots that are not currently active.
  • Transferring does not make the robot operational, it only changes which account the robot belongs to.
  • Activation assigns an active robot to an account and allows it to be used.
  • You cannot activate a robot that is still in the Distributor Pool, it must be transferred first.
  • Activation should only be performed after the robot is in the correct account.
